Supporting and empowering mums with postnatal depression
Trying to be Supermum was developed by me, Alison, a mother to 3 young children, who suffered Post Natal Depression after the birth of my third child.
My vision for this site is to provide a safe environment for mums to chat to other mums, not just about postnatal depression, but any other topic of relevance. There are resources for mums, links to relevant websites and information, and blog posts on an array of topics. This information is to help ease the pressure, have a place to talk things through, and to make things just that little bit easier for us mums.
There are also stories of other mums who are or have suffered from PND, I found when I was first struggling with it I wanted to speak with or hear from REAL people about their REAL experiences. It made me feel less alone.
